Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Columbia moves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Roughnecks travel to Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a test on Saturday, March 1. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 5-13. Almeta Crawford won 2-1 in their recent league test against Stafford (Stafford, TX)

The Eagles now sport a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they host Sweeny for a 4A Region 3 District 21 test on Saturday, March 1. Fort Bend Willowridge will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Brazosport (Freeport, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-5.
