In Thursday's non-league game, the host Reed Raiders baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the McQueen Lancers.
The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Reno nudged Carson (Carson City, NV), 9-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Lancers play the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 28. McQueen will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Galena (Reno, NV).
