The Longview Lobos softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Jefferson Bulldogs to 1 in the Lobos non-league win on Thursday.

The Lobos now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hooks for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Longview will confront a Hornets team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Jefferson moves to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Harleton (Harleton, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 0-7. Harleton lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Beckville (Beckville, TX)
