In Thursday's non-league test, the Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), by a count of 10-2.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 3. Scottsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Cherokee County (Centre, AL).
The Indians (4-7) will now prepare for their test against James Clemens (Madison, AL). The Jets go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, James Clemens was routed by Danville (Danville, AL), 7-4, in a non-league test.
