The Sardis Lions softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Oneonta Redskins to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Sardis will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.
