In Thursday's non-league test, the White Plains Wildcats (Anniston, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL), by a count of 8-2.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 3. White Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Springville (Springville, AL).

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers go into the 6A Area 12 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Pell City was routed by Chelsea (Chelsea, AL), 8-1, in a non-league test.
