In Friday's non-league outing, the host Asheboro Blue Comets baseball squad scored a tight 7-3 triumph over the Trinity Bulldogs.

Next up, the Blue Comets battle the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 3. Asheboro will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC).
