North Carolina High School Baseball - Rosman loses to Owen

February 27, 2026: Rosman, NC 28772

Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), 15-2 in a non-league game.

The Warhorses (1-0) will now prepare for their game against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, McDowell was overwhelmed by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 18-7, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsville for a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A match on Tuesday, March 3.
