In Friday's league outing, the visiting Evans Knights soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Lakeside Panthers.

The Knights (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Jefferson County by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 5-1, in a league test.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Effingham County for a 6A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 3. Lakeside will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-3.
