Arizona High School Softball - Marana bounces Cienega

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ), observed Marana's softball team prevail over Cienega by a tally of 9-1.

The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Sidewinders enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, San Luis was routed by Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ), 8-7, in a non-league contest.

The Bobcats now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Salpointe Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 3.
