Texas High School Softball - MacArthur knocked off by McCollum

February 27, 2026: San Antonio, TX 78221

The McCollum Cowboys overwhelmed the visiting MacArthur Brahmas softball team by a margin of 11-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Cowboys now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 outing on Tuesday, March 3. McCollum will encounter a Indians team coming off a 14-4 league loss to Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Indians record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, MacArthur moves to 7-11 on the season. The Brahmas travel to United (Laredo, TX) to encounter the Longhorns in a non-league outing on Saturday, February 28. The Longhorns come into the outing with a record of 7-9. United lost 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Clark (San Antonio, TX)
