In Monday's non-league game, the host Weatherford Kangaroos baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Aledo Bearcats.
The Kangaroos (2-0) will now prepare for their game against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, El Dorado was edged by Montwood (El Paso, TX), 4-2, in a non-league game.
The Bearcats (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Rockwall tipped Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 6-1, in a non-league contest.
