The Vinemont Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Locust Fork Hornets to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, St. John Paul II gained a win over New Hope (New Hope, AL), 12-1, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Hanceville (Hanceville, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Hanceville gained a win over Pennington (Blountsville, AL), 16-6, in a non-league match.
