Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host American Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Gordo (Gordo, AL) to face the Green Wave in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Gordo lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)
