In Monday's league test, the visiting Newsome Wolves lacrosse squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the Durant Cougars.
The Wolves now have a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cardinal Mooney for a non-league test on Friday, March 4. Newsome will face a Cougars squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Jesuit (Tampa, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Winter Haven Blue Devils (Winter Haven, FL) in a 2A D9 test, on Friday, March 4. Durant will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 26-0 league loss to Newsome (Lithia, FL).
