Texas High School Baseball - Overton loses to Big Sandy

The Big Sandy Wildcats crushed the host Overton Mustangs baseball team by a tally of 18-9 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hawkins for a 2A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, March 10.

Next, the Mustangs face the Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 3. Overton will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Frankston (Frankston, TX).
