In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Deming Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Gadsden Panthers.
The Wildcats (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Hobbs was edged by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 8-0, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record.
