Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), saw Sahuaro's baseball squad edge Ironwood Ridge by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 1. Sahuaro will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ).

The Nighthawks now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Casteel for a non-league battle on Friday, March 3. Ironwood Ridge will play a Colts squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 3-0.
