The Knights enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Flint River Academy (Woodbury, GA).

The Eagles now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chattahoochee County for a 1A D-II Area 6 battle on Friday, March 3. Marion County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
