The Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) basketball felled the visiting Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN), 61-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (4-21) will now prepare for their test against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish go into the AAAA Section 3 test with a 9-16 record. In their last test, Rosemount thwarted Eagan (Eagan, MN), 50-33, in a league test.
The Blaze now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeville South for a non-league test on Friday, March 3. Burnsville will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 48-39 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 14-11.
