Avondale will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 63-41 non-league win over Westfield Prep (Redford, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 14-7.

The Warriors (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Pontiac (Pontiac, MI). The Phoenix come into the Oakland - Gold battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Pontiac was nudged by Loyola (Detroit, MI), 70-31, in a non-league battle.
