The Northgate Flames basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Canevin Crusaders to 54 in the Flames non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Flames now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aliquippa for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 4. Northgate will battle a Quips team coming off a 61-36 non-league win over Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Quips record now stands at 19-6.
The Crusaders (21-6) will now prepare for their contest against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions come into the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Greensburg Central Catholic was defeated by Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA), 61-36, in a non-league contest.
