Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato West can't hold off Century

The Century Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Mankato West Scarlets to 55 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mankato East for a non-league contest on Friday, March 3. Century will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 18-6.
The Scarlets (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Austin (Austin, MN). The Packers come into the AAA Section 1 contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Austin edged John Marshall (Rochester, MN), 73-54, in a league contest.
