Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN), 66-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northfield upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to John Marshall (Rochester, MN) to clash with the Rockets in a AAAA Section 1 bout on Friday, March 3. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 11-14. John Marshall lost 73-54 in their recent league bout against Austin (Austin, MN)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) in a AAA Section 1 bout, on Friday, March 3. Faribault will attempt to upgrade on its 1-24 season record. The Winhawks go into the bout with a 10-13 record after their 73-63 non-league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN).
