The Kearny Komets topped the visiting The Cambridge School Griffins volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Komets now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvin Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. Kearny will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.
The Griffins (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA). The Redhawks enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Mountain Empire was knocked off by Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
