Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), 11-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 3. Newberry will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
The Panthers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Saluda for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Pelion will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
