Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mavericks confront the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a challenge, on Wednesday, March 8. Manvel will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Texas City (Texas City, TX).
The Tornadoes now possess a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host La Porte for a challenge on Friday, March 3. Ball will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
