The Smithson Valley Rangers smashed the host Wagner Thunderbirds soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Tuesday's league match.
The Rangers now sport a 18-0 record. They play next when they host Veterans Memorial for a 5A Region 4 District 26 match on Friday, March 3. Smithson Valley will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 4-12.
With the loss, Wagner drops to 2-13 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to encounter the Matadors in a 5A Region 4 District 26 match on Friday, March 3.
