Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 1. Model will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Bowdon (Bowdon, GA).

The Warriors now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haralson County for a 2A Area 7 challenge on Thursday, March 2. Gordon Central will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-5.
