Texas High School Soccer - Copperas Cove overwhelmed by Midway

The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) and the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), saw Midway's soccer squad triumph over Copperas Cove by a count of 7-2.

The Panthers now hold a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan for a 6A Region 2 District 12 test on Friday, March 3. Midway will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 12-1.

In their next game, the Bulldawgs battle the Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 12 outing, on Friday, March 3. Copperas Cove will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Hippos go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Temple (Temple, TX).
