Next, the Mustangs confront the College Station Cougars (College Station, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge, on Friday, March 3. Magnolia West will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX).

The Bears now have a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brenham for a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge on Friday, March 3. Montgomery will confront a Cubs team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 7-10.
