The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Abbott for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. Avalon will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Blum (Blum, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Gholson falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The travel to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
