Brazoswood Buccaneers (Clute, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Clear Creek Wildcats (League City, TX), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Woodlands for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Brazoswood will battle a Highlanders squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Clear Creek falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to battle the Falcons in a 6A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Clear Lake won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Texas City (Texas City, TX)
