In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 19-8.

With the triumph, Buena moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Colts travel to Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ) to play the Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 1. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Rio Rico won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Nogales (Nogales, AZ)

In their next game, the Rangers play the Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 1. Rincon/University will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Caballeros come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 16-14 non-league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ).
