The Daphne Trojans softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Spanish Fort Toros to 3 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Daphne moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Trojans host Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to clash with the Pirates in a 7A Area 2 game on Thursday, March 2. In their next game, the Toros clash with the Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL) in a 6A Area 2 game, on Monday, March 6. Spanish Fort will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Golden Bears go into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Milton (Milton, FL).
