The Nimitz Cougars softball team scored 28 runs and limited the visiting Eisenhower Eagles to 17 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Nimitz moves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Westfield (Houston, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 game on Friday, March 3. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 0-6. Westfield lost 21-6 in their recent league game against Dekaney (Houston, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 game, on Friday, March 3. Eisenhower will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Generals come into the game with a 4-8 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX).
