Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sweeny for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Fulshear will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Lamar Consolidated falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX) to battle the Brahmas in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Brahmas enter the challenge with a record of 14-2. East Bernard lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX)
