North Carolina High School Softball - Union Pines tipped by Gray's Creek

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) softball team the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), by a margin of 13-11.

With the triumph, Gray's Creek moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bears host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 1. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 1. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, NC).
