The McNeil Mavericks softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Manor Mustangs to 0 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, McNeil improves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Lake Travis (Austin, TX) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Thursday, March 2. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 7-8. Lake Travis won 4-3 in their recent league game against Westlake (Austin, TX)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 game, on Friday, March 3. Manor will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Vipers come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 20-8 league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX).
