In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), by a margin of 20-4.
With the triumph, Moriarty moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Pintos travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hornets in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 2. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Highland lost 23-4 in their recent non-league contest against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Warriors play the East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 1. Socorro will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
