The Mustangs now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ore City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Overton will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to Gladewater (Gladewater, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Sabine falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Kilgore lost 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against West Sabine (Pineland, TX)
