The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) and the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), saw Ysleta's softball squad nip Parkland by a count of 8-3.

The Indians now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, March 21.

With the loss, Parkland falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to face the Aztecs in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Aztecs enter the match with a record of 6-8.
