The Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) softball the visiting Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), 9-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Maroon Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Asheville by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 32-10, in a non-league bout.
