The Mt. Zion Eagles baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their match against New Manchester (Douglasville, GA). The Jaguar go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, New Manchester gained a win over Heirway Christian Academy (Douglasville, GA), 16-6, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Washington (Atlanta, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Area 6 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Washington was overwhelmed by Hardaway (Columbus, GA), 18-1, in a non-league match.
