The Swansboro Pirates baseball team (Swansboro, NC), was overwhelmed 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC)
The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whiteville for a non-league outing on Monday, March 4. New Hanover will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Pirates confront the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 4. Swansboro will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Scorpions go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC).
