The North Douglas basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Elkton Elks to 37 in the non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The now sport a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nixyaawii Community for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. North Douglas will battle a Eagles team coming off a 77-62 non-league win over Lost River (Merrill, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 23-4.
The Elks (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lost River (Merrill, OR). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 26-5 record. In their last contest, Lost River was defeated by Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR), 77-62, in a non-league contest.
