The Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA), 61-59 in Wednesday's league test.
The Warriors (18-8) will now prepare for their test against Hampton (Allison Park, PA). The Talbots go into the non-league test with a 22-4 record. In their last test, Hampton was tipped by Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA), 56-46, in a non-league test.
The Lancers now own a 20-5 record.
