The South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) basketball crushed the host St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN), 76-55 in Wednesday's league test.
The Packers (11-14) will now prepare for their test against Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars go into the AAA Section 3 test with a 10-17 record.
The Cadets now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hill-Murray for a non-league test on Friday, March 1. St. Thomas Academy will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 73-64 non-league loss to Washington Tech (St. Paul, MN). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-15.
