The Cordova Lancers held off the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lancers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a Greater Sacramento test on Tuesday, March 5.
The Diamondbacks (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Ponderosa held off West Campus (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
