In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Fort Frye Cadets basketball team scored a good 43-27 triumph over the Bellaire Big Reds.
In their next game, the Cadets meet the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 2. Fort Frye will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Jets enter the match with a 19-6 record after their 49-48 non-league win over Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH).
With the defeat, Bellaire moves to 16-9 on the year.
